Kirsten and Hunter live in North Carolina but they had planned to be back in Virginia for an engagement party this past weekend so it worked out perfectly for them to come to the farm for their engagement session on their way home! Of course, right after they got to our house, it started pouring rain! For a solid 20 minutes, it down poured and I was so sad thinking that we weren’t going to get any pretty light for their session! Thankfully, the rain passed and for the rest of the evening we had the most gorgeous, glowy light! Praise the Lord! đŸ™‚
Kirsten and Hunter are such a sweet and easy-going couple and I can’t wait for their wedding next fall! Not only am I thankful that I get to be a part of this special time in their lives, but I’m also thankful for Hunter and his service to our country! He will be headed overseas next month for a nine month deployment. I’m sure the wedding will be extra special not only celebrating Kirsten and Hunter’s marriage, but also celebrating having him home again! Thank you both for your sacrifices and here’s to a speedy deployment and a safe return!!
Here are some of my favorites from their session…
