I have to admit that it wasn’t my plan to make a montage video every year for our anniversary. However, as I watched our third year video this morning with Buddy, I realized that it’s such a beautiful way for us to remember just how blessed we are! Who knows where we’ll be 10, 20, or 30 years from now, but I know we’ll love looking back on the sweet memories we made while we were young and newly married!

Our third year of marriage has been such a wonderful year of learning more and more about how to love and honor one another. The longer we’ve been married the more soberly I look back at the wedding vows we made. They’re not clouded by nerves or excitement anymore. I see more clearly what they truly are: a weighty and powerful covenant that can only be upheld by God’s sweet grace in our lives! I love this gradual shift in perspective because it makes me even more thankful for God’s goodness.

Buddy, thank you for loving me, forgiving me, making me laugh, and making the best coffee even if I don’t finish my cup! 🙂 I love you and I can’t wait for what God has for us in our fourth year of marriage!!
