Yesterday we sat on the couch and laughed about nothing. We took a spontaneous drive down roads we’d never been on just to see where they went. We enjoyed each other’s company and dreamt about what our life would look like in the future. These are just some of the examples of why I love being married to my best friend!

On our first anniversary I shared how I had learned that marriage is a gift and this year I’m convinced of the same, if not more so! Learning to really love each other and sacrifice for one another has been challenging, but such a rewarding gift. I can only image what the years ahead of us will look like, and I’m so excited for the adventures they hold! I’m reminded of something that Buddy and I say often… “God is good!”…so, so good!

Buddy, Thank you for being my husband and loving me so well! I can’t believe that I’ve already spent two years as your wife and more than anything else, I feel blessed. Blessed to call you my husband, my best friend, and blessed to continue to drive down the back roads even when we don’t know where they lead.
