Young Life College | Our Home Vimeos

My stud-of-a-brother-in-law, John, is a part of the YoungLife College team at JMU and this week marked their first big event on campus. We, of course, didn’t want to miss this, so me, Buddy, and our friend Eric drove up to help with the festivities…and really just to step back into the good ‘ol days of college fun! The party was definitely a success–there were hundreds of people, a raffle, a DJ, a bon fire, and endless pancakes…now, if that doesn’t scream AWESOME, I don’t know what does!

Soooo, here’s another video to add to our collection of “Home Vimeos”. Check it out!

HAPPY FRIDAY Y’ALLLLLLL!

Lacey & Henry | Williamsburg, VA Engagement

I’ve mentioned before how I feel about Colonial Williamsburg. I’ve been there tons of times but there are still places I’ve never been…It’s like that movie you’ve watched a million times and just when you think you know it by heart, you find that part you never caught before. Yeah it’s like that. Well, in true CW fashion, this place didn’t disappoint.

Luckily, Buddy was able to come with me to this shoot, which makes car rides much more fun (especially when he drives!) and we were even able to grab dinner at the Cheese Shoppe (so good!).

I had known Lacey from school, but had only had the chance to meet Henry once before our session together. I feel that this is often the case with most of my couples which is why I LOVE doing engagement sessions–I get to spend a lot more time with the the couple together in a relaxed setting and learn how they interact. And speaking of that…Lacey and Henry are one-of-a-kind…ehh, two-of-a-kind???…either way, they’re great!! They constantly make each other laugh which makes them so fun to be around! Their wedding is going to be here before we know it and I can’t wait for all the southern details Lacey has planned…seersucker anyone??!

Here are a few of my favorites from their session…

The bling! Nice job Henry! This necklace was from her grandmother! love it.
