I can’t wait to share more from my session with Lacey and Henry! They are adorable and so much fun!
Happy Monday! I woke up yesterday just feeling eek. It must have been something I ate but I felt sick all day yesterday. Was it a nice excuse to lay in our hammock and read magazines?!…Yes, but I can’t remember the last time I’ve actually been sick. Sick like if I worked in an office (other than in my house) I wouldn’t have gone in. Praise the Lord for self-employment! But no worries, I’ve taken a 180 and feel MUch better today! Which is great because 1. being sick is no fun 2. It’s Friday and 3. Because I’m shooting an engagement session tonight that I’m super excited about! Side note, Buddy moved the cows yesterday into the field right next to our house, which I love because we have…count it…SEVEN little calves right now! They’re so young that they’re still silky and aren’t afraid when you get close to them. So I, of course, had to put on my boots and take some shots of these little ones!
Happy Fun Friday! Come visit Abby! We can collect eggs together! YES! Please come anytime!! omg these are so cute. i loooooooove them! i also am so jealous of your farm life. can i come visit? haha While I love my life in the suburbs, I’d love to spend a day on a farm! Your video on collecting eggs has me totally intrigued Rewind a few years when I met Hannah at church. We had mutual friends and we both attended Christopher Newport University, but we hadn’t met until then. I heard she was also a photographer and I-just-so-happened to be about to shoot my first solo wedding. SO probably the second thing I asked her after I met her was if she wanted to second shoot the wedding with me. Lucky for me she agreed which immediately calmed my nerves–YES! I didn’t have to do it all by myself! The wedding was great, and from that point on I knew I loved her. Now fast forward a few years when, at the same church, Hannah was introduced to Jordan (gotta love church…just bringing people together Jordan, your energy is contagious and you are so fun to be around. Hannah, you are amazingly sweet and I can’t wait to see you as a BRIDE! You two are wonderful and your love for Jesus and each other is genuine and so refreshing! I can’t wait for May!!! Here are some of my favorites from their session…
How romantic and sweet. The big day is almost here. Congratulations to both of you and to your proud parents. Hi Lorita! Thanks and if I’m ever at Sunrise with Buddy, I’ll be sure to say hi! Thanks Mandie–they are just wonderful! And I look forward to meeting you too! Can’t wait! I couldn’t be happier with these photos! They’re so “us” and Jordan & I both love them. You’re amazing!! Only problem is that I can’t pick my favorite! I love these pictures! Recognized a few of the places in downtown Staunton… I love that city! By the way, I am Lorita from Sunrise Farm… I found your website through Polyface, and I think your photography is amazing! Woohoo! Thank you for capturing my sweet friends so beautifully. Looking forward to meeting you at the wedding and seeing your photos after. AHHHH! I love these pictures! Hannah and Jordan, ya’ll nailed the “model face” – oh my word!
